Acoustic roller shutter doors manufactured by ROLLC are classified for sound transmission class (STC 31). Industrial heavy duty doors, designed and built for intensive use alongside sound reduction.

Curtain
Curtain shall be constructed by interlocking slates faced 0.8mm thick, ASTM A 366 cold rolled steel with galvanizing standard ASTM A 653 steel zinc coating insulated shutter RIFA77, Curtain shall be equipped with a bottom bar consisting of two structural steel angles (70mm x 70mm x 5mm) of equal weight, one on each side, securely fastened to the bottom of curtain for reinforcement & to provide contact against ridge when closed.

BARREL SHAFT ASSEMBLY
Steel pipe barrel of size capable of carrying curtain load with maximum deflection of 0.01” per ft. of door width.

BRACKETS
Brackets are manufactured from mild steel with 10mm thickness.

GUIDES
Fabricated from 8mm thick structural steel angles. Top of inner and outer guide angles to be flared outwards to form bellmouth for smooth entry of the curtain into the guides. Guides are provided with removable stoppers to prevent over travel of cutrain and bot om bar.

OPERATION
GFA Electromaten Motor, made in Germany specialially drive for fire shutter. The door shaft is driven by a chain transmission for rising loads with safety brake, spur-gear, centrifugal brake, reversible universal brake, integrated limit switches, electrical motor and control panel. fire shutter will close automatically in case of fire. Power supply 400V, 3 phase, 60Hz..

END CLIPS
Slats are secured in position by steel end clips on alternative slats which stops the slat from moving side ways, therefore preventing the curtain from jamming.

BOTTOM RAIL
The bottom rail is double steel angle (70mm x 70mm x 5mm) ASTM A 123, grade 90 zinc coating, hot dip galvanized.

HOOD
Galvanized steel hood cover of 1mm thickness, square shaped is fitted on the bracket to protect the shaft assembly from weathering.
