Curtain
Curtain is constructed from continuously interlocked galvanized steel flat section slats with 77mm height and 21mm total thickness. Slats are manufactured from 0.8 mm thick galvanized steel sheets conforming to ASTM A653 & ASTM A366, filled with Rockwool insulation and held securely in position by windlock end clips.
End clips
End clips produced from metal to secure the slats in position using end lock and wind lock. End clips are fixed on alternate slats to stop the slats moving sideways, which therefore prevents the curtain from lateral movement.
Bottom Rail
The bottom rail is fabricated from 70x70x5mm thick double steel angles conforming to ASTM A36. Bottom bar provide reinforcement to bottom of curtain.
Guides
The guide consists of two components. The components include a steel wall piece and a single “L” shaped guide piece, bent at four places. Both the components shall be attached to each other.
Dangle
Manufactured from a mild steel pipe conforming to ASTM A36 with minimum diameter 168 mm and 5mm thick. Dangle designed to give high factor of safety and minimize deflection to 2.5mm per meter width.
Brackets
Made up of 10mm thick mild steel plates, 500mm x 500 mm is folded to form a 100mm foot at right angle to remaining area. These brackets support the drum and curtain assembly and are attached to the inside wall of the building, provided drive gears ends to suit the type and arrangement of the roller shutter. Brackets are factory prime painted with zinc chromate coating to provide corrosion protection
Finish
Curtain, Guides & overhead box are all powder coated using polyester powder coating conforming to AAMA, ASTM B117-73, ASTM D2247 & ASTM 6155 with paint color as per selected RAL from ROLLC chart.
Operator
Elektromaten German made operators model GFA FS series. Special drives for fire shutters. The door shaft is driven by a chain-transmission for rising loads with safety break, spur-gear, centrifugal brake, reversible universal brake, integrated limit switches, electrical motor and control panel. Fire shutter will close automatically in case of fire. Required power supply 400V/ 3Ph/ 60Hz.
Locking System
Electrically operated shutters are self locking. Drives without an electric brake have a self-sustaining worm gear and stop automatically while drives with an electric brake, stopping is achieved by the external brake. Built in safety brake conforming to DIN EN 12604/12605.
