STANDARD SPECIFICATION
Curtain
Curtain is constructed from continuously interlocking slats from galvanized steel/aluminum/stainless steel sections. Slats could be flat or curved, single skin or double skin based on the application and customer requirements. Slats are held securely in position by end clips to the form the door curtain.
End clips
End clips produced from high strength nylon or metal to secure the slats in position. End clips are fixed on alternate slats to stop the slats moving sideways, which therefore prevents the curtain from lateral movement.
Guides
The curtain guide could be standard type manufactured from 3mm thick galvanized steel strips conforming to ASTM A653 formed into U sections or triple angles type with 5mm thickness co forming to ASTM A36 or for high wind requirements the guide is windlock type up to 6mm thickness.
Dangle
Manufactured from a mild steel pipe conforming to ASTM A36. Dangle designed to give high factor of safety and minimize deflection to 2.5mm per meter width.
Brackets
Made of mild steel sections, designed to support the drum and curtain assembly which are attached to the inside wall of the building. Brackets are polyester powder coated with same color to match curtain.
Finish
Curtain, Guides & overhead box are all powder coated using polyester powder coating conforming to AAMA, ASTM B117-73, ASTM D2247 & ASTM 6155 with paint color as per selected RAL from ROLLC chart.
Overhead Box
Galvanized steel hood cover of manufactured from galvanized steel sheets conforming to ASTM A653 & ASTM A366 with 1.0 mm thickness. Rectangular shape hood is fitted on the brackets to protect the shaft assembly from weathering.
Operator
Doors are electrically operated with special drive for industrial doors which require an anti-fall back device. Drive comprises of worm gear with safety brake and hollow shaft, emergency manual operator, integrated limit switches and electrical motor.
Locking System
Electrically operated shutters are self locking. Drives without an electric brake have a self-sustaining worm gear and stop automatically while drives with an electric brake, stopping is achieved by the external brake.
Emergency Manual Operation
Motors equipped with hand chain operator for emergency use in case of power failure. Manual operation force should be within the requirements of EN 12453 and 12604.
